Saints and Reliefs

The figures of saints of the Franco firm are available in different sizes, from 12 to 60 cm. The smallest are in maple wood, the largest in lime wood. The style ranges from baroque to modern, the finishes from natural to antique to gold. Alongside the traditional saints, such as S. Martino and S. Floriano da Franco, there are also particular saints: Saints Cosimo and Damiano, protectors of doctors, midwives, pharmacists and physicists.
Another particular work is the representation of the Spirit Holy in the form of a dove emerging from a crown of luminous rays. The linden wood crown is available in 28 and 44 cm diameter, the dove is in maple wood. The most valuable version of this piece worked with great care is the one with antique finishes.
Both reliefs proposed by the Franco company have great artistic value. Leonardo's "Last Supper" and Albrecht Dürer's "Hands Clasped" are masterpieces of Western art. In Val Gardena they have come back to life thanks to wooden sculptures. Available in 10 x 5 cm models up to 51 x 93 cm models, they adorn walls and spaces of various sizes. Also in this case the large reliefs are in lime wood, a soft wood whose properties give the sculpture even greater vitality.
