Angels’heads

They are the classic gift for births and baptisms: angel heads that must guard and accompany the newcomers to the world on their journey. In this, confession also plays a role that is not exactly leading. Angels are found in almost all monotheistic religions, they are objects of veneration and are considered as the invisible companions of our life. Especially for children it is nice to identify with these little angel heads and hang them for example above the cot to be protected by them.

Sono il regalo classico in occasione di nascite e battesimi: testine d'angelo che devono custodire e accompagnare i nuovi arrivati al mondo nel loro cammino. In questo anche la Confessione svolge un ruolo non esattamente di primo piano. Gli angeli si trovano in quasi tutte le religioni monoteiste, sono oggetto di venerazione e vengono considerati come gli accompagnatori invisibili della nostra vita. Proprio per i bambini è bello immedesimarsi in queste piccole testine d'angelo e appenderle per esempio sopra il lettino per farsi proteggere da loro.

Franco's angel heads are available in various sizes, from 4 to 30 cm. Most are available in either left or right orientation, or in pairs. The stylized wings that support the preciously worked head, in the colored variant, are traditionally covered with gold. Two special variants, also indicated as a decorative element of the altar or domestic chapel, are the 30 cm head of a cherub (1050) and the group of three angel heads (1040). The cherub head is shared with the cherub of the sanctuary of Maria Steinbach in the Allgäu and is carved by the Franco company in lime wood. Standing guard over Heaven, the cherub is usually generally regarded as a very severe angel.

Le testine d'angelo della ditta Franco sono disponibili in varie dimensioni, da 4 a 30 cm. La maggior parte è disponibile sia orientata verso destra che verso sinistra, oppure in coppia. Le ali stilizzate che reggono la testina preziosamente lavorata, nella variante colorata, sono tradizionalmente ricoperte d'oro. Due varianti speciali, anch'esse indicate come elemento decorativo dell'altare o cappella domestica, sono la testa di cherubino di 30 cm di grandezza (1050) e il gruppo di tre testine d'angelo (1040). La testa di cherubino viene condivisa con il cherubino del santuario di Maria Steinbach in Algovia ed è intagliata dall'azienda Franco in legno di tiglio. Posto a guardia del Paradiso, il cherubino di solito viene considerato generalmente un angelo molto severo.
