The chess set is available either in an elegant wooden case – crafted with inlays of mountain maple, walnut and bubinga hardwood – or as a loose figure set. The case can also be ordered separately and offers individual, protected storage for each chess piece.

The case measures 37 × 37 cm, the pieces are carved and the king stands 9 cm tall. The pieces are available either waxed or semi-transparent color glazed.

The two sets differ clearly in their base tone: one set is light waxed, the other dark stained. This contrast also defines the coloring and ensures a clear visual distinction between the pieces.
